I was 10 year old in 1998 and this was the first game I ever played on computer. Was a major upgrade from 8bit Video game system. Super class game. But giving error on windows 11.

Bit of an oddball game for me this. I played it and didn't like nor dislike this. But it kinda speaks volumes that the only thing I remember from Motocross Madness was my bike flying into the stratosphere.

If you tried to run the .iso installer, but got stuck on the message:
"Creating application directories Please wait..."
Running Setup.exe in Windows 95 compatibility mode does the trick!

To install the ripped version you will need the indeo 5.x codec and you need to import the registry file (just double click on it).

Be sure to check the help section (top right of page) if you are unsure how to run/play the games you get here. You'll most like need a DOS emulator or some other freeware to get them going.
So how exactly am i supposed to install this because i download the zip file but there is no installer or exe for it and i really want to play this.

Got it installed and updated the registry, game launches but when I enter a race my screen is a bunch of graphical artifacts.. Any ideas? (on XP Pro 32-Bit, with a 9800GT)

I downloaded the rip version. How do I install it? I unzipped the file and now the game files are in my downloads. I tried to click the game icon, and it tells me "installation error".

It doesn't work :( It says it's an ISO version, but all that's in the folder is an MDF and MDS file.

Installed great on macOS of all things XD I used Wineskin with the d3dx9_36 winetrick, Windows version set to Windows 95, copied in the rip version of the game, and used the included registry file to modify the Windows registry so that it thinks it installed correctly.

Me too. I had the demo back in 2000 and LOVED being launched from the cliffs back to the track! It looked epic when it went BOOM! and the camera zoomed out! I can't believe it's been over 18 years. I look retrospectively and can see and almost touch my past innocent self playing this. It's been a long time yet it almost feels too recent. God bless you all!
