After placing the Setup.exe file in Disc 1 to compatibility mode for Windows XP, I was able to install the game on Windows 10 (did not use "patch" or "fixed installer"). However, like MANOS said, the game interface and background were misaligned on the screen. I also had difficulty using the mouse functions (due to misalignment with the cursor) and further with saving the game and loading a save. Though it still might be workable if I put in more effort, this is just too cumbersome and time consuming for me. I uninstalled the game shortly afterwards.

Guys, any idea how to install it? Am I supposed to unmount it or something? I tried directing the installer to the zip files and the folders with the extracted files and nothing worked.

I just finished the game a few hours ago and I must say I enjoyed it much more than other games with more "credentials". It's by no means a perfect game but it's definitely an enjoyable one. Yes the story has gaps, yes the voice-acting could be better (however, I didn't have any problems with the protagonist's acting but mostly other people's in the game) and yes there are bugs (mostly the resolution and some sudden crashes - save frequently!) BUT the riddles make sense most of the time, the graphics and setting are very nice (dark, gloomy etc.) and there's some pace in the game so I didn't get bored (except maybe for the first couple of scenes). In overall it's a decent game with some flaws (which is much better than technically perfect, polished games, which are boring and not engaging). So, all in all, it would be more of a 4/5 than a 3/5 (while a 3.5/5 would be fairer, had it been an option).

@FLUBOY It seems to be running fine so far but the interface is a bit broken (seems like some parts of the content is "pushed" to 16:9 (let's say 1024x576px) while the background is 1024x700px (yes, still not 1024x768px)... Can you tell me your specs and settings?
