I tried everything I could think of to get this game to work properly on Windows 10 but every time combat starts the game will crash to desktop. It is not the fault of the English patch as the original un-patched version crashes at combat as well. I'm using an Nvidia GTX 1080 so if anyone has any clues please let me know. I've tried installing and running the game using xupefei's Locale-Emaultor, setting the compatibility of the game to different operating systems, etc... still the combat crash issue.
In the meantime I installed it on Windows 95 using PCem and it works properly.
A very interesting RPG.
