I always thought I had all the problems with everything I did. You people take the cake. What is asking you for a CD key?? I wrote the ISO to a disc, it installed on my HDD, I applied a NoCD from GameCopyWorld, and the game plays great. I think most peoples problems could be eliminated if they stopped trying to use an emulator or a modern (10/11) OS. Try using real hardware and an OS the game was designed to be played on, and you probably won't have any issues because I seldom do.

The setup isn't working. The error message says "setup.exe can't be found".

wrong NOCD patch, the executable myabandonware uploaded is for MotoGP 3 URT, not MotoGP 2.

I had the same problem. To make it work, first uninstall the game (start fresh). Then install the game. At this point, the game should already work (but only if the .iso is mounted). No need for the NoCD file at any point. If you want the game to work without .iso mounted, search for the "elf.42" file from the mounted .iso. It's among the other game files. Then copy it to game folder on your computer, and then it works without mounted .iso.

I executed the fix .exe but nothing happens, the icon appears at the task bar, but a second later it vanishes. Please help me I really want to play it!
