This game is a huge disappointment because I had read the book when I was a kid. The programmers didn't bother putting in any responses other than the ones that advance the story. A lot of times there's no way of knowing which is the right thing to say or do that will advance the game. Look at the walkthrough on YouTube and you'll see what I mean. Play Infocom's Witness instead.

You really need the docs for this game. The parser is unsophisticated.
