This game graphics artworks is stunning colourful, SVGA at its Best. Inventory objects can be rotated in 3D within Eye Box.
The story telling is good, very forgiving game whenever made a wrong decision can replay a scene without restoring the game
Voice(default) or subtitles but not both.
What version is it? I can't move on in version 1 even when using patches, I think I need version 2 which repaired those bugs.
I'm still getting an "internal error". Anyone else getting this?

I got it to work through the link TIM posted what i did since i downloaded the game was delete the exact files Sierra site told me to and instead of making the files that they wanted me to they have the option to Download it already made http://www.sierrahelp.com/Files/Patches/KingsQuest/KQ7DOSBox.ZIP
then i foillowed Tims instructions on setting the CPU cycle to 10000 i did not change my reasolution to what he specified my flat screen tv did not like it so i changed it to 800x600 instead

I'm having the same trouble as other. To start, there are multiple .exe files, which one to pick? Then, it doesn't seem to matter what I chose, either it shuts down automatically or tells me it cannot boot. The instructions in the "How to" area are not very specific, understandable since there are a lot of games, but confusing at the same time because the files have different names and I don't know what to do.

I have Windows 7 and used D-fend run the game, following Tim's instructions below. Unfortunately, I only got the game to run for about 20 seconds before it shut down on me. What am I doing wrong???

i downloaded the file, but now i've got problems opening it. it says that i don't have any sierra products on my system. is it necessary to buy the cd? i'm afraid it won't work since i'm using windows 7.... could someone please help me???

i have downloaded, unrared and have tried multiple ways to run it and each way through dosbox states that i missing some key files. can you please put up a guide on how to get this to work so people know what they need to do to get it to run?
I'm having the same problem as others, I open it through d-fend and it looks like it is going to open then just closes with errors. :(

I downloaded the game and tried to play it in Scummvm and Dosbox and downloaded D Fend to try to open through there as well. I got the same error message as "Please help me" saying the game can't be installed. I don't know why this is so difficult, I managed to get an old version of Sim City working fine on Dosbox.
I use the SCUMMVM engine. It solves a pluthra of my problems. Plays everying AGI, SCI and SCUMM. :)

I got it to work but two seconds into the game it says: Error loading resource 1394.wav. How do I fix that?
I am having the same problem. he game begins to load, but instantly shuts off at the same time every time. It's probably around 20 seconds too. How do I fix this? I have done the exact instructions advised.

I am having problems with this game crashing after 20 seconds. I created a floppy drive for it and my top file is sierra.exe. What am i doing wrong? I have no folder selected for the setup because setup is in some administrative format.
