i wonder if people will start hate deltarune kids now for trying to play this game as they did with fnf kids. i've knew this game long before fnf and deltarune though but decided to play it when deltarune TV pose reminded me of it. and its impossible to run help

every time i try to boot the game using the disk a screen pops in japaneese (after making a windows 2000 vm). how do i fix this?

This game is pretty insane but it's missing the gameplay element. Essentially you kind of just click letters to see a short cutscene and there's no exploration or discovery to be had. Because of that i'd recommend just watching a playthrough. If you want to play a game made by the same person but is an actual game, check out "Tong-Nou" or "Chu Teng". Took me a couple hours to get this running on a virtual machine, and it felt like I could have gotten the same experience watching it on youtube.

You shouldn't let your child anywhere near this game, but it's amazing for people who want to download this game firsthand. And see all the wonderful things. Though me myself only downloaded it because it looked weird, and the graphics were very eye catching.
