Best played in a Windows XP virtual machine. Put the three tax options up to 40% and remove infantry from APCs and transport helicopters. It is a money saver. The problem is on the original patch, Iraq can't be defeated as the player, as Mosul is locked behind Baghdad. On a later patch, this will be fixed. Starting a protracted war with China will cause a bug that will crash the game every turn. So unless you save every turn, you will lose massive progress.

Anyone know how to get this game to run on modern computers? The game opens but it goes to like 800x600 window mode I can hear the menu options when I click around but I can only see my desktop.
