As a scottish Lord in medieval England, you have to unite the clans and defeat the british army. Braveheart mixes economy and troup management on a 2D map with realtime-strategy battles in 3D. Although Braveheart is the official game to the hollywood movie featuring Mel Gibson, there is no direct reference to the film. (Apart from a single picture of Gibson, that is.)

On Windows 10, it launches the game. Once I am in the main screen, the background flickers, and after I click either start game or options, it crashes. Anyone has a solution? (I am already running it as administrator and I have set the compatibility on Windows 98).

@SuperSaiyanJack The Scots gave William Wallace up because he was an upstart always causing trouble. Scotland was excommunicated too. Funny how you don't see either of those facts in the movie.

CD version doesn't recognize poweriso after install.
