When I was in high school (not THAT long ago ), the game of life was making a big splash in mathematics and biology... although it seems to us at the time that the best use of the theory would be-- you guessed it-- in games. In the game of life, each cell must be split according to a specific formula. In this game, you must split the cells in the right order so that the end pattern matches a given prototype.
Quite fun and educational, with energy and control issues thrown in for complexity. Two thumbs up!

More poison from that jerk, Charles Darwin.
this game could do with a manual
Wow, apparently uneducated people surfing abondonware websites come here and use the review space of a 1992 video game to call someone like Richard Dawkins an idiot... If I had to guess, the moderators probably don't want crap like that on here, so how about if you drag your idiotic ideals onto a site dedicated to debating creationism, the existence of a Higher Power / Supreme Being / Prime Mover / Flying Spaghetti Monster. Seriously, neither the time nor the place, dummy... and people wonder why I've lost my "faith" in humanity...
More college math classes - especially those teaching game theory - used this as a teaching tool than biology classes. Still, a fun waste of time, but what good game isn't? :)
