I've downloaded the 4 disc version, used Daemon to mount and install and it runs and silently crashes. Turned off firewall, discord overlay and downloaded patches from external website. Nothing works. Funnily enough it says under version currently installed:
I am on a Win10 machine and have tried everything. I give up.

English version is not Purple Haze, becouse, Offical EN Purple haze hase 4 Disc 2 for Original Game and 2 for Datadisk, this is only base game, so this version is not Purple hanze

Says to insert disk 2 there is not disks to begin with.

If the game does not start, it is because (the game requires a system unit older than Windows Vista.) But thanks to the community patch, you can also play the game on new OS with some fixes. If you notice a some fps drops. Don't forget to try to switch the game from "system-memory" to "video-memory" or conversely at startup! download here: https://www.myabandonware.com/download/mu7-vietcong

I installed it correctly but the game is just not running. I have a Windows 10 and nothing special in terms of RAM, graphics card, etc.

One of my Favourite Vietnam shooters from the early 2000's. Had a lot of fun playing with friends online and the single player game was great. Lots of mods were available at th4 time. Sadly the de3dicated site that held virtually every mod and map was closed down several years ago. Thankfully I got everything before it shut down.
