GamersGate is a well-known and legitimate website. I haven't bought it because it's waaay to costly for my liking but I thing their version is not a code for Steam but an installation file you download directly from their website. I bought some other obscure games from them in this form.

So I just checked and this game was in fact never released digitally, you can check SteamDB, it has no entry nor has it ever likely been on any other platform like Uplay or Origin since the publisher has no connection to Ubisoft or EA. Whatever Gamersgate are selling it's not legit. That link really should be removed.

@ABIRD47 Even tho technically does not look like a Abandonware anymore. I would still not trust the website bc, it lacks any sort of verification whenever it was obtained legally or uses the versions that were archived in the Archive.org wich in my pov. It lacks info from where the product was obtained and something like that. It is complicated topic if it is or not.

But i would rather play it safe and instead of going all out in to saying it isn't... Bc i trust Steam and GOG but not some random website i have never heard of before that might look interesting but... Gives off uneasy vibes to me.

How is this not abandonware anymore? It has been delisted from every single official storefront the game was ever sold on, if some random shady key reseller selling old keys for games delisted 10 years ago for ridiculous prices counts as a game not being abandoned then half the games on this site from the past 20 years are not abandoned either.
