Yu Yu Hakusho Gaiden-Genesis is a choice-based combat adventure, creating a briefly new plot by remixing elements from the mother-series.
You can play as Yusuke, Hiei, Kurama or Kwabara, and use combat and choice-making in dialogues as you wander alone in the city, fighting monsters and ghouls that took human form.
As much as one loves Yu Yu Hakusho, the most epic anime you can ever watch, and as much as you really wished to play with your favorite character, Kurama, the game is seriously baffling any fan who doesn't speak japanese. It can get boring partly because of the music and because you can't always find the montser if you don't make the right choices. Of course, you can take the 90's kid way and learn by heart all that happens when you pick one of the choices, but this is a much less oppressive era where you really do have so many games to pick from, so, unless you really want to find out if you can defeat the Big Brother on your own, just pick another game.
