1. cant run the 'multiplayer'. To be clear I dont want to play with other people, meaning the issue is not connecting to some other computer. I just want to start a multiplayer session cause I liked this game mode better back in the day. It crashes the game however. (single player works fine) 2. anyone could make the music work? I even mounted the ISO. (sound effects work)

I was able to bypass the game asking me for the CD by deleting the "MCIPlay" file.

One last thing: I had to press ALT-F4 to get past the initial loading screen too.

I forgot to mention: To play the game, in addition to using Windows 95 compatibility for running the Akuma.exe file, I also had to keep the disc image folder so that the disc image could be opened/mounted prior to running the game for the game to run properly.
