For anyone interested, there's a remake of this for PC now called Ambermoon.net and it is absolutely amazing! It's free on itch.io and has fantastic QoL features like tooltips for every button, graphics options, bug fixes to the original etc.
It still needs the original files from this version but you just drop them in Ambermoon.nets folder and start it up. It's seriously good!
