None of these games work on Windows 10. I used Daemon Tools lite to extract and install. No issues installing the games, DLC, or map editors. However nothing will launch, even under compatibility mode. There needs to be additional information on potential workarounds and/or patches.

However, some of the map packs and maps have been taken offline, but you can request site admins to upload for you. Though this can take a while. You may find some of the map packs and single maps elsewhere such as Filefront etc. Just google the name of the map and BF1942. you'll probably find some of them on ModDB

I ran it on windows 7 perfectly, shut the computer off, turned it on and it asks for the cd even though i made an iso from the disc files for wincdemu and have it mounted when i try to play it

If you can't get Battlefield Vietnam to run in this complete package: The standalone version of Battlefield Vietnam, which can also be downloaded from these pages, worked for me.

so Bad Company and BC2 when? both are total abandonware now

Keys are in the Disk1 zip. it's a picture of the diskcover
- but it seams to dosn't work on win 7. it don't start.
I try winXP compi.-mod & admin-start. nothing.
and it never ask me for disk 5,6,7 or 8.
I will download the original ones.

Where is the serial key / CD Key please ?

I got discs 1-4 to work with 1942 and its expansions. But Vietnam no matter what I try just gives me catastrophic failure when trying to install it. I did run in admin and tried various compatibility options too. Yet nothing is working for me. I'm on Windows 10.

Works beautifully and can be modded. Works with multiplayer if you get an updated list.

There is a community still playing Desert Combat v0.7 (Final), the First Gulf War mod that came out in 2004 which birthed all the modern Battlefield games since. Look up Hello Clan Desert Combat, they also have other BF1942 mods servers (Star Wars themed Galactic Conquest and I also believe a Battlefield Vietnam server), an active discord, instructions with download links to the mods, etc. I've seen servers filled with 30 players (which is kinda hectic) with no lag or stutters (Friday evenings are best).

Tested with UltraISO; images are correctly emulated.
