Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold

I remember playing this in 5th grade before class.

This is an excellent FPS game... I've wasted many, many hours playing it.

hey all guys here , I read on other game using dosbox it much better to edit the conf file and change cpu cyclos from auto to maxx insdtead of cntrl-f11(f12)method , give a try.

Awesome old school game not the most rated one but really cool !

This game has been on and off my mind for years now. It was one of 3 games that introduced me to the FPS genre (along with Doom and Catacombs 3-D). For some time I always thought I was just thinking of Wolfenstein and remembering wrong... Jeez. This was a favourite to go back to.

Vastly better than similar 2.5D games of the time.

Want to play Blake Stone on my Windows 7 pro PC but it won't load up so here I am on your website.

You can adjust frame rate in DOSBox by hitting Ctrl-F11 (slower) or Ctrl-F12 (faster) to get it to run to your tastes. BS:AOG seemed to run pretty smooth at 8500 cycles but that may vary depending on CPU.

Yay the full version, but i have dosbox and i run it, its too slow, what should i do?? Please tell me

I really like that game, because the alien and mutant creatures, their so cool and interesting for every gamer who like sci-fi games...

As with Wolfenstein 3D, I played this one too late to get keen on it... I was already cursed by Doom and Heretic! ;)

It looked a little bit better and the interaction with the NPCs was a great deal, but nonetheless I only played the shareware version back then and never tried to get the registered version back then. It was a slightly irrelevant game to me, too late and backward to me...

Much later I enjoyed it much more, but also got very often frustraded by some enemies or levels, that I played it step for step over 2-3 years or so, that means only when I really got bored sometimes... ;)

Nice! Can't wait to play rest episodes (2-6). I remember playing with my friend few years ago the first episode because I had demo version. Good times.
