I was wondering if anyone knew how to uncap the FPS as mine is locked to 32-33 fps? I assume it's taking my monitors refresh rate and halfing it. I can use lossless scaling frame gen the game up to 65 FPS but id rather have the frames run natively
my computer says that there's a virus in the NOCD file what should I do????
WHATS THE CODE!
Not really much of a game, and all the gore is not visualised. You choose your tool to kill but then just draw lines on a black page. Narration is good, control awful, gfx awful, but I thank myabandoware for the opportunity to play this for nothing!

Hello baby brother
If you are getting the "Engine initialization has failed! Checked dexterpc.log" error, a potential fix can be disconnecting all but one display from your system (provided you have multiple displays plugged in.) It seems that the game engine built for an ipod touch game cannot handle multiple displays
I'm consistently getting an error saying "Engine initialization has failed! Checked dexterpc.log" I've tried compatibility settings, virtual machines, changing gpu/cpu settings, and changing config.ini but I can't seem to get it to run.
BRO WHAT IT KEEPS SAYING DOWNLOAD FAIL DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS PROBLEM????
Man no there isnt lol

i have windows 11 and i don't know how to play it because when i launch the game there is a error engine initialization has failed checked dexterpc.log can someone tell me why and how to play it? emulator windows 7 or something because i don't know
it works but as soon as i click play or options it crashes (about, help, extras work). how do i fix this?
So I had a problem because I couldn't find the Dexter_setup.exe but I finally found it and for this you need WinRAR. So when you install the zip folder with the game (not the NOCD) extract the zip folder and open it and you should just see "Dexter the Game.iso" and right click on it and click on "open with WinRAR" and now you should see the setup which is the program to install the game and a folder named "Crack" and you need it after you install the game with the setup. so after installing the game you copy what's in the "Crack" folder and go to:
C:\Program Files\Icarus Studios, Inc\Dexter The Game\
or to the directory where you installed the game.
also if it's not in Program Files there should be another folder named "Program Files (x86)" and you will probably find it there.
And then you just paste what's in the crack files in it.
How can you play this game
Havwn't even played yet we will see
