Odell: Down Under is an entertaining edutainment game for Windows 95 that lets you play as various fish in the sea.
In your struggle to survive the longest you'll learn about your fish' preys and predators. The gameplay is very simple-- just move the mouse to maneuver your fish and click on preys and food source to eat them. It's disappointing that MECC didn't make the game more realistic or complex.. as it is, it's just a very simple game that's fun only in the short run.

It's 2026, can anyone suggest an easy way to make this work on Android 14, via a device like Samsung Galaxy A55? Would love to revisit properly, but I don't have a computer & mouse so Classic Reload is a dud.. (even the onscreen keyboard they provide doesn't have a virtual mouse & their kb's arrows don't seem to work at all with the game, as nothing happens, sigh) fingers crossed! 🐟
I tried running through DOSBox on windows 10, but the latest compatibility setting for the .exe was thru Windows 8. So I'm still trying to figure out the best way to play it.
I loved this in school! Later (many, many years later) bought the CD-rom to play on computer, only to find it wasn't compatible and the newer computers don't even have cd drives! Looking forward to playing this again! Thanks!
This brings back memories of 3rd grade. I remember ARGH rippling across the screen over and over as I starved that poor shark to death. Maybe after fifteen years I can at least keep from starving for at least five minutes?
Must be an updated version of "Odell Lake" for Apple II. Used to play that in elementary school and loved it.
