This SEGA classic took the world by storm in the late 90', spawning SakuraWars themed anime, pop-up shops and sequels in the early 2000's.
The protagonists must form relationships with other female mech-pilots in a partially animated visual novel like environment, resulting in different routes depending on the choices made throughout the story. At the same time, you must engage in a turn-based strategy RPG mech war game, engaging in war with your friends and companions in fighting robots to save the city from the violent attacks of an evil organization.

There's an english translation available for the Sega Saturn version. I would like to post a direct link too for your convenience, but last time I did the admin deleted my comment, so you're just going to have to find that for yourself.
