Crazy, I used to play this and listen to the Nirvana album "In Utero". Decent game, great memories!

The Catacomb Abyss - a fabulous first-person shooter, which became another Chapter in the series Catacomb. In the role of a wizard, you must free the city from the authorities Немезиса, disposing of the zombies, skeletons and other evil spirits. The game is a labyrinth traps and enemies. Many of the ideas of this shooting later were successfully applied in Wolfenstein 3D.

...This was the game engine testbed for Wolf3D. Sold the same way via trialware - firs level was free, the rest you paid/pirated for. Performance wise it wasn't as smooth as Wolf3D, which is why there weren't that many people who paid for the full game. Still, not a bad game and worth taking out for a spin.
