Microsoft Defender Detects virus upon completion of download
There is no need to use dxwnd or even compatibilty mode. Just copy pasting cnc-draw fixes everything and even unlocks native 1600x900 resolution. Additionally you can now use shaders.
america is not installed on target system message error appears , when I in fact did before trying to setup expansion. any help??

What does the Patch 4.05 English version 5 MB for the America expansion actually do?
It appears only to install and old version of Adobe Acrobat Reader
All who use WIN10 use DXWND. This emulator will make your game work as normal. Have a great nostalgy, dear players

Double click the cracked exe and it just goes straight to the desktop.
how do you get the original ISO to start setup. ive mounted it with daemon tools but when I click to start setup it does nothing
about the 1.02 patch:

but apparently it causes resolution issues: any resolution above 1152x864 will crash the game when running in fullscreen mode. (pcgamingwiki)

In the almost two-year development time we naturally strove to make the play as error free as possible.
Unfortunately we - like all other game developers - cannot test our software on all existing PC systems.
A PC is not a gaming console that a software directly runs. So there will always be a computer, on which a the
game does not run at all or runs very poorly.
The following problems should be recovered with the Patch of the version 1.02:
1. Units do not stop any more in the forest and hang or hang on torn down walls.
2. When Multiplayer plays against the AI the computer no longer gives up immediately.
3. The fields can be ordered automatically. As long as sufficient wood is there food is produced on fields.

Found the fix for not being able to start the campaign... well at least this works for me so basically you change the resolution to 1024x768 and it should work.

I have an issue running this one, i can't launch any campain, do you have any clue to give me ? it might be a compatibility problem

The new Expansion Pack features two new missions from each of the game’s four different groups. Players can now command the Tomahawk Warrior, Pioneer, Gatling Gun, Ironclad Coach or the Saboteur unit. They can add a hunter, flame-thrower, bow and arrow, and farm women to their missions at a training camp, restaurant, tent of the elders and wood mill.
Full Internet gaming functionality is available through GameSpy.com. There is a new level editor. The Expansion Pack also features a re-engineered game engine providing smoother, smarter artificial intelligence, graphics and gameplay.
Not at all sure that the addon executable is necessary. It sounds like the content from the add-on is added in to the main game.
Got a Heuristic hit on AmericaAddOn.exe, but I'm FAIRLY certain that it was caused by compatibility wizard adding tasks to the task manager.
However, I CAN'T get this one to work. Does anyone have any hints?
This one DID take a WHOLE bunch of time to load in the installer like the the original part did.
