Azalta is an adventure/role-playing game. But unlike most other games of this type, Azalta is much more than a simple single adventure; it is an entire game system with endless adventures, an infinite number of large worlds to explore, hundreds of puzzles to solve, creatures to meet, and items to find -- you can even create your own worlds/creatures/items!
If you have played other adventure/role-playing computer games before, you won't find this one difficult to learn (in fact, you could probably play it without reading any of this guide). Even if you haven't, you shouldn't have any problem with Azalta -- it's quite simple and straightforward.

I've lost of how many times I've seen this available for download with the claim stated in many different ways that the editor is included - which it never has been. And they invariably quote The Underdogs' review word for word. Even the Internet Archive does this. I really wish the creator would come out and release the whole thing into the public domain.
The message about "use party name as argument" usually means there's no character data or save games.
It's basically telling you what to do. So pick any name you want, 'killers', 'heroes', etc., then you get to character creation. Fairly straightforward from there. To restart your save, 'azalta heroes' or such.
I am trying to run this and I'm fairly new to running dosbox, but the issue I'm having is a message when I try to start the program. "Must use party name as argument" then it gives you an example. Is there a work around for this?
Looking good! A retro RPG fan's true delight!
But I don't know about its contents ie- the GAMEPLAY! I will get back with more on that after playing the game!
