I want to play the original 98 version not the redux which these link too, the original 98 version is abandonware since its not purchasable anywhere.
The Redux is very nice but the nostalgia is hurt by the very nice changes, please upload the original installers that were made available as freeware before redux came out

If you'd like to see Battlezone 1.5 get updates, contact Rebellion and ask for it to be open sourced or a low cost license.

old memories with it...its simply grate
windows games are much easier to install and play than DOS games.
some games expect you to have the cdrom game in the drive and some
others want you to mount something and there seems to be no shortage
of headaches getting DOS games working.
this was a game I lost many many hours to long ago ,i will have to see if there
are any good mods for this on that BZSCRAP site, it would be great if I could find
a skirmish basebattling mod or some type of unit editor , anything pretty much
that would allow me to tinker.
