seriously play through this game on easy, and go as fast as you can, theres 60 gorgeous but small open world levels to see, pretend you are playing RE4, play dayz OST soundtrack while you are playing, the animals are just a bonus to make money for new equipment and outfits and stands and stuff. For even BETTER immersion and relaxation. Think of lodges as dark souls bonfires. I still think about this game daily

All the sounds in the game sound too much alike, ganky movement.

Also highlighting where the enemies are can only occur in EASY difficulty, and it can be turned off (its called show trophy waypoints)
protip shoot arrows into the sky and use bulletcam to find animals!

Of about 10 hunting games I downloaded, this one and Cabela's Grand Slam Hunting 2 were the only ones I could get to work on a Windows 11 laptop. The common thing is that both games are from Activision Value Publishing. This game downloads in Russian unless you change the language to English in the installation gray box. You only get 1 location unlocked for each terrain type for quickhunt and early career.

The installer it is in russian ,but before you click in install ,theres a dialog box that you can click and change the language to english .

Thank you so much for putting this game on abandonware. This was (or still is) one of my all time favourite video games. Some great memories. It's a real shame all the CDs have dried up by now. Good on you for preserving the game.
