Candy Land

FYI, if you're trying to run this on a VM, I had to set the color space to 32 Bit or it would crash. Hope works great otherwise, cant wait to play with my kids.

So these comments were helpful. It took me 5 days, but I got my virtualbox up and running. However, I did have to use this download. The download on Archive was not the correct game. I am sooo happy to be able to play this!

Just wanted to help anyone struggling to install/play this game. It doesn't run on modern windows, so you will need to install VirtualBox, a tool that can run different windows versions in a new window. Get Windows XP. TheHowToGuy123's tutorial on YouTube really helped me (except get Opera for your browsing software). To download Candy Land, download the "ISO IMAGE" file on the Archive site. I wasn't able to download from this site sadly. It is titled Candy Land Adventure 1996, but this is actually the 1998 version, so don't worry about that. It's the right game.
It was a job and a half for me to figure things out and get it running, but everything's working smoothly. I'll thank my drive for the nostalgia for my patience lol. I've literally had dreams about playing this again so I had to. Hope this helps you.

one of my favorite games as a kid.

this is a great game to play

It’s so good

For those who are having trouble, an easy way of running games like this on 64-bit versions of windows is by installing otvdm/winevdm.

I cannot the game to download on my computer or my ipad, I am so sad. It says I need 32 windows to play 16 bit game, idk what any of that means. can someone somehow make this compatiable for the newer windows I think i have 62

Going to try this out for the first time

Used to play this game ever day when I was little, I forgot about it until recent and I love it! The ice cream part was my favourite when I was little, and the goblin looking thing scared me lol.

This Candyland will not work on 64-bit pcs.

I LOVE candyland for windows 98 with a BURNING PassioN!

I like the game . It lets me shut out this world problems that I can forget for awhile.

this game was everything when i was little...the nostalgia, wow.

You need to run it in 32 windows. Use Virtualbox to install Windows XP, Vista, or an older version of 32 bit OS. Runs like a charm!

says it downloaded but wont openwith out an app, downloaded the apps it said it needed but still wont open

idk what to do now

says its incompatible with a 64-bit system. no idea what to do to fix this

I think i used to play this when i was about 4, I realized it was an early queer moment for me bc i loved Queen Frostine so much lmao had no idea
