I downloaded the "Heath The Unchosen Path v1.0 [ENGLISH] No-CD/Fixed EXE #2" (the one created by DARKNeZZ). After unpacking the compressed file/folder, I then replaced the original heath.exe file with the new heath.exe file. Then when first starting the game, there will be a black screen after being told to wait, but if the ESC key is pressed twice, the main menu for the game is displayed on the screen. Thus, I no longer need to mount the ISO for the game to work as I previously stated.

I was able to install the game, but the ISO must be mounted for the game to work. Make sure to select the install DIVX codec option at the end of the installation for the game to work. The in-game font characters and English language are not perfect even from the start of the game, though they are still understandable.
