It does have StarForce, but you can install it in a WinXP VM, apply the NoCD crack from Gamecopyworld and copy over the folder. It's like a portable installation and doesn't use registry entries.
Other solvable problems: - The HUD and options menu aren't compatible with widescreen resolutions. Stick to 4:3 - The game doesn't detect the featureset of modern video cards properly and will permanently disable most graphics effects. You have to use dgVoodoo2 to pretend there's something era-appropriate like a GeForce FX 5700 in your system - You can't access the console (for cheat codes) if your keyboard layout isn't set to en-US
THANK YOU Xoyv. STARFORCE STUFF IS THE "MOST EVIL" THING FOR GAMERS AND THEIR PC. WHO EVER INVENTED SHOULD DEFINITELY GO TO HELL. IT RUINS YOUR PC JUST TO PREVENT PIRACY AND ALL THAT STUFF. FINE I UNDERSTAND PIRACY STUFF. BUT BEFORE IMPLEMENTING A NEW TECHNOLOGY WHY NOT TEST IT PROPERLY.
By the way Xoyv OR admin, how to get around the starforce stuff to play the game. like how not to install it before it ruins your system??

IMPORTANT heads up, this game will install a program called "starforce" onto your computer, which will prompt you to restart your system to finish installing. If you DO restart, your computer will no longer be able to get past the boot menu

i agree with the @Thumb . Then again this was made by Cauldron Ltd. pretty much known for putting below average games which CAN be fun but they are far from being a masterpiace at all. Eurogamer did review on this so i recommend giving it a read.
