Hype: The Time Quest

So, I did install it as described (German version) and I can play it (30% of the time it crashes, don't know why). But when I try saving the game it won't create a save data file... any ideas on what I can do?

Hey guys i finally got it don to work (i did it with the german version done)

1. Open the downloaden ISO file of the Game CD
2. Install the game with Alternative Installer made by SuiMachine (in the folder bin, open Hype - The Time Quest Alternate Installer 1.0.0)
3. install the nGlide wrapper Patch, copy everything from the folder in your gamefolder.
3.1 start the Bat. file Patchinstaller.bat
4. go to your Gamefolder, click rightklick on "MaiDFXvr_bleu", propaties, compatibility, then select in compatibility mode Windows 95, and in the "settings" part below you need to activate "Disable fullscreen optimizations" and "Run as admin" and save the changes.
5. start the game trough "MaiDFXvr_bleu"

I'm probably a bit dumb, but how exactly am I supposed to download the alternative Installer linked above from Github? There is no release i can select to download.

i tried to install it via the alternate installer how do i fix this?

Attempting to start the game in D3D mode causes an unhandled page fault exception.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Install the game to a clean WINEPREFIX, by:
a) export WINEARCH=win32
b) Set Windows version to "Windows NT 4.0" (previously reported as the most stable, other versions appear to suffer from the same error).
c) Run the installer, setup.exe, from disk
d) Disable the "Microsoft Direct X Media" check from the installer
e) Set PlayVideo=0 in windows/UbiSoft/ubi.ini
2) Download and install NOCD for D3D versione
3) Run the executable with: `wine MaiD3Dvr_bleu.exe`

Tried installing using the alternate installer linked above, but when I run it I get an error in a window named "Setup" that says "No optical drive found was found on your computer." What do I do to fix this?

I contacted MyAbandonware and sent them the German version. Previously the Dutch version was displayed as the German version, which has now been fixed by MyAbandonware. The link to the German version now works.

Ich habe MyAbandonware kontaktiert und ihnen die deutsche Version zukommen lassen. Zuvor wurde die niederländische Version als deutsche Version angezeigt, was nun von MyAbandonware behoben wurde. Der Link zur deutschen Version funktioniert nun.

Ich konnte die Version mithilfe des alternativen Installers von SuiMachin installieren und das Spiel mit dem 'nGlide Wrapper Patch' auf Windows 10 starten.

Would literally kill for a german version of this.

I really want to play it in German but I can't find any links to the necessary files. Does anybody know where to get them?
