This real-time strategy game is set on "Primitive Island" were humans, elves and tyranos, mutants based on dinosaurs, live a fragile peace. When the patriarch dies a war starts. To make the situation even more difficult evil demons interfere. The campaigns consist of 12 missions per race.
The gameplay is as expected: The player collects resources and uses them to construct buildings. In turn these are used to protect the base or to build more units. The ultimate goal is to rush the enemy. When fighting the units get experience points and level up. This unlocks new spells.

Got this working 2 ways.
way 1: after booting game, at home screen, open task manager. Select the game in the details panel. Right click and select "set affinity." Turn off all processors except 1. Then you can load into the game and play (with a massive stutter and disappearing mouse.)
way 2: Download a virtual machine (I used virtualbox) and install windows xp. Then create a shared folder, and unpack this game into the shared folder. Then install the game on the virtual machine. It works perfectly this way, and all you need to do is not repeatedly lose the first level (this is where I made it to)

I start the game, I go to select a campaign and hit continue. I see the map but its frozen and i dont know what to do
The game works fine. What you need to do is to turn off you DVD/CD device and mount the .iso to the 'first' available letter. i.e. I got C and D hard drives. E was my physical DVD. I turned off the DVD device and mounted .iso on 'E'. The game now sees the ISO and game works well. I just can't make the movies/intros work at the moment - they're black screen that must be skipped.
